Anyone have experience with this boat. Thinking of one for Gulf Coast inshore fishing/family fun. How does it handle 2-3' chop? thanks.

Not sure about that particular model, but my friend has a 18ft Sea Hunt CC and he might as well live in it as much as he uses it. They are good, mid-range boats.

Sea hunts are great boats; I have a 21. However, the XP is a bay boat, designed for flat water, protected or inshore. Not recommended for "2-3' chop"

But neither is any 19'. You don't go out on days like that. You do, however, need a boat that can handle it if you get caught; the 19' sea hunt CC (triton, ultra) and even the escape (dc) would be far better.

There are many comparable brands with the same array of designs, but the point is, the "bay boat" is not your best open water hull.

Do you really mean 1-2' chop? Or 3' swells? Is that more realistic?

I was just kind of asking about that worst case. I would rarely see that. Thanks for your advice. I do like the Ultra but a bit more $$.
