Hi, I just got an old Sea King 5HP, I think it's a "Clinton" Model J500 1106B
Serial # 356137. I do not know the year and I do not have a manual for it yet. I don't have spark, the coil has 7000 ohms from the high tension lead to either of the 2 black wires, and less than 1 ohm between the black wires. I'm pretty sure the coil is shot based on these numbers?? Does anyone know where a new ignition coil/parts can be had? These readings were with all coil wires off terminals, and making sure nothing was grounded or shorted outside the coil. Thanks much for any info/help. Zeph
