Hi Mrloring<br />As your motor was made by OMC's Gale division in 1957 it will use the same service parts as the Johnson/Evinrudes of the day. Part#304688 is a head gasket for a 15-18hp. You can order one from your local dealer.

Hi Mrloring<br />I must appologize. I posted the wrong info for your head gasket. The 12hp motor is lumped in with the 15-18hp family not the 10hp. The OMC part# you need is 304688 head gasket. I am going to edit my last post so there is no further confusion. Boy we are getting sleepy on this board. I not only have to admit my errs but I have to find and correct them as well.

Thanks for the info that is the third part number I have been told. I hope it is the right one.
