I am looking for tiller parts (the gears have teeth broken off) and a manual for a 1956 sea king, 12 hp, made by gale. Any information would be helpfull.

They look to be common to many models from several years from comparable Johnson, Evinrude, and Gale products. www.tcoutboard.com Or just about any nearby dealer with a shed full of parts motors.
Yeah, check around locally and on the web. Those who still stock them will know how to cross-reference to E-rude or Johnson if necessary. Should cost a whole lot....these also come up from time to time on the auction sites.
