Hi. Just bought the boat above and the owner had no information! It has 6 or 7 rocker switches and I haven't had time to check them out, ie which one does what.

1.Looks like horn, rocker on or off momentary type?
2.Three position, off, center position, top position?
3. Same as 2 above, 3 position?
4.Rest are one position, off or on?

Any information will be appreciated, I am sure the owner did not change function of any s/w, so it should be factory settings. The engine is a V4 90hp. All gauges work fine.

Flip them on and see what they do.

Hi I did flip them on, one at a time, then looked to see if any thing was working ie horn, none found. I thought it might be simpler if I just had an idea where to go and look when a s/w was on!

everyone wires their switches differently, if the boat is newer or untouched you might be able to get some info from the manufacturer, otherwise you need to throw the switches and take a look, one should be navigation lights, ones prolly your bilge pump, one live well pump, etc.....

Anyway, back to your question. The momentary on/off is the horn. The on/off/on is your nav and stern light, up for nav/stern, down for stern only. One of the on/off's is for turning on your bilge pump from the helm. The others? Probably one controls cockpit lighting, probably one is an accessory...

You first need to find out if you have any power to the helm. Do you know how to use a multimeter? Here's a good primer...url=http://www.theprolineguy.com/the-multimeter-t17.html]The Multimeter...[/url]

Get one and get to work!
