I have a 190cc Sea Pro 2005. The rear seat backs above the two live wells are fastened with hidden fasteners of some kind. Does anyone know how to remove these backs without damaging anything?

I don't think they are snap fastened. Could they have fastened to the top fiberglass shell before it was mounted on the hull? I've tried lifting up as well. I'm afraid to use any more force.

i have the same boat, and my seatbacks have a little bracket on the back that slide over a screw in the fiberglass. Mine pull up pretty easily, i think i actually need to tighten them down a little.

Late reply on my part, but no I haven't figured out how they are fastened. I have pulled up hard to no avail. I'm thinking that they may have been fastened to the top fiberglass mold before it was joined to the hull, if that's how these boats are put together.
