Sea Ray 21SPX Electrical Issue

Okay guys got a good one for you. All I did was change a battery in my 2015 Sea Ray SPX. Now stereo won't work (I'm getting power to the amplifier) and blower motor pops fuse. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated I'm at my Wit's End for this thing.

What was it doing that you had to change the battery?

Stereo have power? Check with voltmeter

Check the fuses?

Blowing fuses is typically a short circuit in the wiring or motor itself.

Remove power wire at motor and see if fuse still blows. If not, you have a bad blower motor.

My Sea Ray has a stereo fuse in the harness back by the battery. Did it get shorted when you replaced the battery. Some boats have several hot leads for accessories - did they all get hooked up?

Blower motor could have died, strange coincidence but electrical components work until they dont...
