Sea ray 278 hole shot prop question?

Hey guys my friend has a 1986 Searay 278 350 hp that he has problems getting to come up on plane. I would like to know what prop was the factory prop for this type boat. And what type props would be good to use. Top speed isn't a factor cruise is and getting out of the hole is! I don't know the currentprop but will later this week.<br /> thanks steve

What size are the tabs (12" X 9") and what is the current prop?

I had a similar question with an 88 Searay, I E-mailed them and they send back the boats original specs. They also have owners manuals archived on their website.
