Sea Ray Capacity Plate.

Does anyone know where I can get a Maxium Capacity Sticker/Plate for a 1995 Sea Ray 195 b/r, As mine is VERY, VERY BADLY FADED. I checked with Sea Ray & was told it's was available through the Dealer. Went to the Dealer & was told IT'S NO LONGER AVAILABLE, So I contacted Sea Ray yet again & this time I was told, SORRY YOU WERE GIVEN THE WRONG INFO BY THE ORIGINAL CUST. SVC. REP. IT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE & I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO A GRAPHIX SHOP & GET 1 MADE. The PROBLEM IS I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT SAID. I would rather have a original 1, so if anyone know's of someone or a Dealer that has some old stock that might have one, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS JIM

Are you talking about the yellow sticker located near the throttle? I think that may be issued by the US Coast Guard for SeaRay.

In Canada I have to contact Transport Canada to get a yellow capacity sticker just to cover the almost identical one originally issued by the USCG(boat is imported from the States). Perhaps you could get one reissued from the source.

I ijust went through this with my 1991 Four Winns Bowrider. All I did was contact Four Winns through the info on thier website and give them the Hull ID #. About 2 weeks later i had an identical replacement in the mail.

I am really surprised that Sea Ray did not have one to send you.

If you end up having to have one made, maybe you can find someone on hear with the same setup and get the info from them. But remember, it will need to be the same year and model for the info to be valid!

The sticker is issued by the manufacturer.
Is sea ray at least able to give you the info, so you can have one made?

There used to be several guys on the net that would print them up for you. Try googling them once you get the info.

Luckily, my 34 year old plate still looks new. It is engraved into an aluminum plate.

They emailed me one today, but IT'S THE WRONG ONE. They emailed me one for a 210 b/r. So now they have to look even harder to find the right one.
