I have a 1986 Sea Ray Weekender 230. I want to swap out my two seats in the cockpit. They are the kind that are back to back and spread out to one long platform. I have been looking all over the place for replacements but can not find any. The problem is everywhere I look, I see base sizes of 10 or 8 inches. I measured mine, it is about 23 inches. Am I measuring wrong. I am measuring from the floor to the top of the base, not the top of the seat. The guy in the store told me it was pretty much a standard. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

Re: Sea Ray Seats

That seems strange with a height of 23 inches you legs are just gonna dangle I believe.

The base is measured from the floor at the bottom of the base to the top of the base. You may need to lift the seat to get the the top of the base.

You could have some seats where the base goes into the seats a bit too.
