I have a 1987 sea ray weekender and would like to know if anyone has experience running wiring from the steering consol to the bilge. The consol is typical of many that were used back then. It has a door that when unlatched slides down and exposes a shelf that the vhf radio and the radar are mounted on.above them is the terminal strips and wiring. A lot of the wiring and the throttle cable go across the top and dissapear thru the top of the starboard side wall. I would like to run a transducer cable to the bilge and can not find a path to the bilge I have dropped a weight on a string in the area where the other cables go but there is not enough room for any other cables to pass.My question is there some secret way of doing this that I have not seen?

How about ThomWV have you run accross this problem before?

Bill
