I am the owner of a 1983 Sea Sprint 17' open bow, I/O OMC 3.0L. Recently, while at the lake, someone asked me who made my boat. I said Sea Sprint and they had never heard of it. I got to thinking and well, I never had heard of them before either. I went on the good ol internet and tried to find information on the company or models or anything and there is nothing out there. You find a couple of folks selling their Sea Sprint on craigslist, but that is about the only reference I have found. Even the NADA Guide does not list Sea Sprint as a manufacture. So, does anyone out there know about this company? Maybe have a weblink with some intel?
