In considering a 21' deck boat to be powered by a 150 hp outboard, I see that Sea Star hydraulic steering with power assist is offered as an option. Would there be a noticeable difference in steering at slow dock speeding speeds? The standard steering is Sea Star hydraulic steering.

With a 150, hydraulic steering is slightly overkill compared to straight cable. But a little nicer and easier to operate and no feed back. For docking, you don't need anything more. The power assist is for HI power and HI speed needs.
