I just swapped out my pontoon's horn, as it was corroded and not functioning. I unknowingly put it in the same location as the other horn, and it took on water. It still worked, but was muffled from being soaked. It was a single day with this occurrence, so I took it off and fully apart, dried it off and put it back together. reconnected the wires, and no horn. I didn't have time to troubleshoot further, but wondered if I shorted and ruined it, or if I put the gaskets on the incorrect side. There were three in total. I have a 5amp fuse associated to it and it has a reset button, but that did not help it out.
I can check it next week with a voltage meter, but wanted to see if anyone could advise while I wait till I can be back at the boat to investigate further,
