Seafair Weekend in Seattle

WOO HOO, the craziest boating weekend of the year in Seattle.

Who else is going out on Lake Wa. this weekend?

My wifes, sisters family are going to come visit us for the weekend from California. They didnt understand the whole Seafair thing.

I showed them a picture from last yrs Saturday airshow, they were amazed.

They had never seen so many boats in one place. Gonna stay out of the water on Sunday though.

Any other Washingtonians doing anything?

Yup, I'll be avoiding it like the plague. It would be a lot more fun for me if I didn't have to put up with all the boat ramp antics. But I can't quite affort the shore front property.

Hi, I went out today and it was fantastic, Blue Angels are breathtaking. The launch at the slew was the pits as usual, but for me that's the only option.
Tomorrow (Sat)I will launch very early and when I come in I guess I will just relax and pull out after the crowds.
I have a 15.5' open bow 35 Y.O. Arrowglass Puma. I saw lots of Cobalt's, Re gals, wakeboard boats, but no Arrowglass Pumas! Its a bit dicey with the big wake from the cruisers, but lots of fun.
