one of the guys here, places a 5 gallon bucket over the prop to catch the residue. also acts as a sound muffler.
I picked up one of those plastic barrels, 30 gal I believe for this. You are going to create quite a bit of smoke. You might warn your neighbors. In one of these posts, it is recommended that you let the engine set overnight for the Seafoam to work. I do. Great product.
Here's the five gallon bucket muffler and grime catcher. This is installed on a 75HP Merc and does not need to cover the entire lower unit. It certainly does not catch all the crud but it does a good job of preventing gunking up your driveway and it does cut down two stroke noise. Just don't put the engine in gear or you will have "bucket spaghetti". You obviously need to use muffs as well.
