Hey guys -

I have a '04 75hp 4-stroke Yammy. I just got done breaking it in and am planning start using seafoam in the gas and also in the crank (a couple running hours before I change the oil).

Anything that I should make sure I AVOID doing that might cause me problems?

I've been running seafoam in my '97 blazer with great sucess, but didn't start doing that til about two years ago.

Let me know.

I don't know about useing it in your oil.I have a can on the shelf, I will have to read it. I see no problem with using in the gas as it a good additive to keep things cleaned. I have heard of some mechanics putting a qt of diesel fuel in engine oil and running just long enough to warm it up good and then drain oil, supposedly helps get any sludge out. I think with quality of todays oils, that is probably not as much a problem as in the past.
I have used Mystery oil from time to time, even in the gas for my Merc 200HP carbed engine. I have a 115 gal fuel tank and will add a quart to it when filling up.

Sounds like a good plan to me.
THe SeaFoam is also a good gas stabilizer, in case you can't use the boat for an extended period.

You probably won't need to put it in the crankcase for very long (15 min?) as you are starting with a clean engine, and are doing the right thing to keep it that way.
