Why not!! It certainly won't hurt anything and may very likely help. I'm an avid fan of SeaFoam and use it in every gasoline engine I own.

can't hurt anything, other than the plugs. which will need to be replace afterwards.

Decarb, take a can of seafoam put 3/4 of it in the gas tank, with only 1 gallon of premixed gas. put the rest in a spray bottle. start the engine, and let it come up to temperature. then remove plugs, and them some real good shot of seafoam into the cylinders, replace plugs, let sit 15 minutes. restart, and spray the rest of the seafoam into the carbs, so the the motor almost stalls, wait and repeat until the seafoam is gone.then take for a wide open spin. then put in new plugs, ad premixed gas to the tank, and take it for a wide open throttle spin. it is going to smoke like a house on fire, during this process.

then run seafoam in you fuel.

I will usually do this the day before I go out on the lake in the driveway on muffs (obviously everything but the WOT run.....I save that for the day on the lake since you can't do that on land). You will definately want to make sure you do this when the neighbors aren't around..............unless you don't like them :D

Re: SEAFOAM should I or shouldn't I

I've done three or four of my motors, from 6hp to 200hp and have never had it do anything good or bad, at least that I could identify. It's never caused the smoke or spewed black gunk like others have seen, just a little white smoke for a short time. Maybe they just didn't need to be decarbed, but for the price it's easy and may help.

I did use the OMC stuff too, same results.
