Welcome to Iboats, Hayshaker!<br />Unlike Evinrudes, Johnson outboards don't have specific names for different models, and all models are known as "Seahorse". Sometimes they aquire nicknames, but I can't think of any for the TD/TN series outboards. The 5hp engines sure have a good reputation though.<br />The TD-20 was unchanged '46-'49. For interest's sake, your serial number suggests it was built in 1947.
