SeaKing 5 5S10 need help on starting cord

Has a coil starter and cord has disintegrated down to SS cord. Cord is breaking at any bends made to place in handle. Need to either find a replacement or solution. thanks for any help.

You should be able to use a good braided rope from the hardware.You may have to rig the anchor ends.
