Any suggestions on what sealant to use on the 4 mounting bolts on my Gregor aluminum boat? Thanks, Bill

Most of us use 3M 5200 or 3M 4200 adhesive/sealant. Either works well with the 4200 being easier to remove the hardware. But it really doesn't matter which one you use.

For motor mounting bolt I would use the 4200. They might come out if / when your change motors or are doing maintenance. 5200 would be a royal pain IMO.

With large hardware like OB mounts - No problem using 5200 and removal. Nothing leaked or froze in the transom when I pulled the bolts.
