In my Seloc they refer to Sealer 1000. I searched threads and my trail lead to some products that were no longer available. They stopped making Sealer 1000 a while ago. A replacement for this with the same properties is one of two sealers. Try Threebond 1194 formally 1104. 1104 had lead in it and is off the market the 1194 is lead free. The other sealer is HondaBond4 or HondaBond #4 this is the same stuff as the ThreeBond and is made by ThreeBond for Honda. You can see the properties of this stuff at www.threebond.com

Hope this helps anyone looking for a non hardening sealer for lower unit reseals and any other places that need it.

The old Sealer 1000 is also available at Johnson Evinrude dealers as Type M Adhesive.

It is made by 3M and called 847 Rubber and Gasket Adhesive
