I have looked all over my area for Sealer 1000 and can not locate it. I understand it is no longer made. Does anyone know a source for Sealer 1000? If it's no longer available what is a good subsitute?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />TN Fisher
Thanks for the response. I'm rebuilding my gear case on a Evinrude 120. Seems to be a lot of calls in the Evinrude manual for this stuff. Looks like something you need to have around when working on the outboard.<br /><br />Thanks
Hello<br /> I would rather see OMC gasket sealer or quicksilver perfect seal used than using sealer 1000. you must be using an aftermarket manual. OMC uses adhisve M. similar to 1000 but has more body and does not run as bad.<br /> good luck and keep posting
From a dealer you can buy the Adhesive Type M, as Rodbolt said, or any marine supply can order Sealer 1000 as it is now made by Boat Armour, who makes fiberglas cloth, resins, etc.
