Evening all,

I am replacing a thru hull transducer for my boat. The old one came out OK, but I had a question about the new one. When I install it, would it be better to use 3M 4200 (semi-permanent) or 3M 5200 (permanent) sealant?

Thanks

Either one will work. 4200 is a bit easier to remove and the 5200 is more of an adhesive and permanent but either will work.

Thanks Bob.

Wasn't sure if 4200 would be OK, although that's what I wanted to use just in case it ever had to come back out.
