I am look for the lower unit gear housing cap for a Gamefisher 7.5 outboard. I suppose I would need the gasket as well. Does any happen to have one for sale or now where I go about looking for one? Thanks

Well if buy cap you mean a wide regular head screw that goes on one side of the lower unit then go to www.searspartsdirect.com and type in your model number on the top of the screen. you should find what your looking for. Now if its missing the skeg on the bottom of the lower unit you might find it at the web site but I doubt it.

Good luck finding the cap, but regarding the gasket, I've just used Silicone Gasket Sealer on mine for years...no gasket required!:)

Then try www.craigslist.com and look for a Gamefisher, ted williams, eska, or any other sears motors and ask someone Who wants to part out there motor. Also the lower units on those motors from 4hp-9.9hp where all the same so they should fit.
