What should I use to seal the sending unit back on to an aluminum built-in fuel tank? Looks like the prev. owner had sealed it with a silicone type sealer and now I have a fuel prob. 76 70hp Johnson will run WOT at 5500rpm for approx 1-2 minutes then lose power. :( When I pump the bulb it stays collapsed. The vent is open. So I'm guessing, from reading other posts, (haven't checked yet) that the fuel pick-up in the tank is getting clogged. Gonna take out the sending unit and clean out tank. Just wanted to get my ducks in a row before I start. Thanks

Before you do that replace bulb.

As for sealing the sending unit, get a can of Permatex - the kind where the brush is part of the top.
