My bud has a 274 Larson. Since he bought that I've had an '06 240 and an '07 290. We've ridden in both and the differences are kinda' obvious. The Larson goes a little faster (couple mph) but when cruising slow it has too much bow steer and doesn't handle well in a breeze. It has terrile dockside manners! I really like he style of the Larsons but... do a sea trial on both and you'll see.
