I was given a Minn Kota foot controlled trolling motor. The only problem is that the shaft was cut short by my father-in-law before he gave it to me. The prop comes out of the water when I use it.
It is an older Minn Kota 665MX with a chrome steel shaft that threaded into the motor. I was able to remove the old shaft and am hoping some of you have some idea's on where to locate a longer shaft or whether a shaft could be made from conduit?
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
