I can find 3.5" hose and I can find 4" hose for a reasonable price of $15 per foot

however the only 3.75" that I can find is listed under volvo part numbers and is only sold in pre-cut 6" lenghts for $63 each

can someone point me to a source of reasonably priced 3.75"exhaust hose

I use my local hydraulic shop for my marine hose and fitting needs, they can usually have it in a couple of days.

Scott, Ebasicpower.com has this 95mm soft wall exhaust hose as #AP2410.
They show it pre-cut to length just like Volvo and Sierra do.
Do NOT buy it this way.
The pre-cut lengths from Volvo Penta and others are generally too short, causing one of the clamps to compress the hose into the scallops in the risers. This can cause sea water restriction.

Buy this by the foot and add about 2" onto each piece from what you think you need so the clamps can be further up the risers.

all I can find are the pre-cut 6" sections, or a 25' roll

the 25' roll is about $9/foot. at the 6" section, its $70/foot.

Scott, I know what you mean, very expensive.
A friend of mine who works on these told me about this. He said that if you talk to anyone who works on these, they'll tell you that often see these rubber couplers get squeezed into the riser openings where the sea water enters the exhaust flow. They end up chasing down overheat problems and can't find it until they figure it out.
There's usually no problem at first, but eventually it can restrict the flow.
The only solution is to buy it by the foot and a bit longer than the OEM length. You'll find it, just might be hard to find.

have a 3' stick of 3.75" id, 4 ply silicone tubing coming. I think its the only stick in the US. everything else was "special order" and minimum buy.

I remember having a rough time finding the hose at a decent price. Google is your friend on this one. Here's one of the results for "marine exhaust hose":

I know it's a little late for the OP but maybe others will find this post helpful.

your post link does NOT have the 3.75"

the 3.75" ID is rare, I can find 3.5" and 4" everywhere

Search 3.75 turbo hose on ebay - up to 275 psi and 500 degrees, I am using it now, I also prefer using ss turbo clamps (t-bolt clamps) for worry free clamps, they just cost a fortune.
