Hello........I'm new to the outboard motor repair gig.... I'm hoping that I can find another motor just like mine to use for parts OR a good site to pick up parts. I've been on the Sears site with limited success.<br /><br />I live in Stoughton, Wisconsin and was given an older boat motor that was damaged in the tornado that passed thru our town a couple weeks ago. It's an older Sears Gamefisher and from what I'm finding out on the internet it was manufactured by Eska. <br /><br />It has a decent amount of damage and no user guide or owners manual.... I'm not even sure of the year........ but based on the info I've seen on the internet it looks like a 1969.<br /><br />I know I need these parts:<br /> Owner's manual<br /> a propeller<br /> column (I call it the main housing between the motor and the prop)<br /> the fin at the very bottom of the unit (protects the propeller)<br /> maybe a gas tank - this one has a big dent in it<br /> maybe other parts that I don't even know about yet......<br /><br />Make - Sears Gamefisher<br />Model - 217-585830<br />S/N - 8D-165012<br />HP - 7.5<br />Year - 1969 ???<br /><br />Any guidance would be appreciated...... thanks!!!
