Sears Gamfisher Question

Was givin a 5 hp Gamefisher, in excellent shape. Am going thru the engine.Now according to this forum if the engine has fins..it is air cooled(NO IMPELLER) but when I type the model # in sears parts it shows a water pump rebuild kit. My model # is 217.586611 Ser# 48.001923, if any one has a manual they would consider copying over and mailing me would be willing to pay...sears shows NO manuals available. Also, anyone know how old this is?? looks like a lawnmower engine hooked to a prop. Also has a 2 blade prop, info on sears says it should be a 3 blade prop.Dont even know if it will move my boat, but a back up is always good, if the 86 merc dies on me..should i get a 3 blade prop, would it give me more push..I have a 72 robalo cc

searenity, I also have a single lung sears gamefisher. I think you will find that the power head is air cooled, however the exhaust is cooled with a water pump. Put it in a tank or garbage can and see if you can crank it. You should get some sputtering mist along with the exhaust. If so then I would use it as my backup.
