Sears motor what year is this thing?

Hey guys! <br /> This motor come into the shop today, and the gentelmen that had it wanted to know about this motor and what year it was. It is the first one that I have seen, but have heard of them mentioned. This is a 3hp. Sears motor. with the ser# 107126. There is a number above that and it is 217-58540. I'm not shure what those numbers are but they might be help. <br /><br />I do have to say that this motor does run good and pumps great water. Nickster; Wheyou find out about this Sears 3hp. Please let me know. I also have a 3hp Sears Gamefisher and now I'm really confused. Our serial numbers aren't that far apart and mine is air cooled. Thanks, Hal.

fone_man!<br />Thanks again did what you said with the numbers got a reply but I did not get a year on this motor but I think it is an antique. On the sears website they told me that it was an outboard 3hp motor I already knew that. Any more suggestions on this motor is appreciated.<br />Thanks guys!<br />Nick

nickster:<br /><br />I usally take on a question that bothers me & cannot give an actual response to it. So I researched Sears stuff.... still do not have year of motor but I do know it was made by ESKA Outboards... will keep on looking!!!

I'm still looking and can't find anything about this motor I beleive it to be an antique, I don't know. Does anybody know where ther is a site for old motor dealer. Thank you!<br />Nick
