I just got a Sears Ted Williams 7.5 - Model#574-59960. There are some hoses missing inside work. I'm not sure what goes where. If anyone has one of these and you could get a digital picture for me, that would be great. I'm also wondering about the fuel mix, any idea?

Thanks,
Mike

Closest I can come is 574.59950 which is a 1969 made by McCulloch. It would be white and have a very low profile.

Alas neither the owners manual nor the service manual I have for it show the hoses or routing. I'm betting there are two hoses. The first would lead from the fuel fitting to a fuel pump In fitting. The second would go from the fuel pump Out fitting to the carburetor.

Highlight and copy 574.59950, go to www3.sears.com and paste it into the model number box. I doubt you'll have luck, but it's worth a shot. They have many parts diagrams available online, but I doubt that'll be one of them.

ok, there's that hole facing forward in the chassis down beside the tiller - the fuel line enters there and connects to the only forward facing fitting on the carb.(kinda lines right up - lotsa fun attaching that hose and the little spring clamps - you need super long needle nose pliers and lotsa patience)

The top of the float bowl in the carb has an overflow port (rear top of carb)- a line goes from there down to a fitting on top of the exhaust housing (wedged in under the exhaust port cover) to dump excess primer pumped fuel into the lake instead of making a mess under the cowl. I think that's it.

I'll have a look at mine tomorrow & try to get a pic.
