Just finished installing a LED trailer light kit by SeaSense (PN 50080270K) that I bought two years ago. I was very impressed with the quality of this kit. All hardware, from the light studs and nuts to the wire clips are all stainless steel "for harsh marine environments". The wire harness is tinned marine grade wire, and that is a real plus for salt water use. Also, the crip wire connectors are heat shrink, so they seal tightly against the wires to keep water out. Nice touch.

The receipt was taped to the lights, and I was currious how much these lights cost now. So I went online to check. Turns out Walmart has this kit by the same number, for $49. BUT.... they don't list the wire being tinned or marine grade, and the photo of the hardware does not show heat shrink crimp connecters. It also states the wire clips are galvanized, not stainless like in my kit.

So just a word of caution, if you buy this SeaSense light kit at Walmart, it may not be the same grade as the kit you buy from other retailers or online. Other online retailers list the kit with all stainless hardware and marine wire. Makes me think Walmart had the kit "dummed down" so it could sell it cheaper.

And threading the wire was a piece of cake. Cut the plug off the front of the old wire harness by the tounge, and duct-taped the new harnes to the old. Then from the rear of the trailer, gently pulled the old wires out, and the new threaded right in and through the square tube frame. Easy and neat.

Working alone, it took about 4 hours to do the whole job, including removing stubborn rusted on old light studs.

I imagine the BassPro branded kit I installed is the same one. I'm also very pleased with it.
