Seaswirl deck boat and bowrider discontuinued???

Hello all, great board you have here. I have been looking for a new boat for about 3 monthes now. I would like best of everything which I think deck boats offer, I have three kids and we like to travel, fish, ski, and have guests.

I had been looking quite close at the 5.0 merc MPI seaswirl 217 deck boat (2007) but just recently learned they are no longer makeing the deck boat and bowrider lines.
anyone have any info?
should I still buy it?
Opinions on seaswirl?
I had originally looked at the Tahoe but I am not so sure any more

Yes, seaswirl didn't have enough customers for the bowriders and deck boats thewy closed down the whole factory to save money and only kept the fishing boat line i got a boat recently we were told that we should wait to get the next model but apparently they discontinued shortly after we bought i live in alberta, canada and there is a shortage of seaswirls in canada even with that plant open and the dealer was begging for more boats as he was losing money because there was too much demand... makes no sense

i love the boat lots of power and the only problem we have had is the blower failed and the oil pump exploded not huge problems 2 day repair time ad alright if its on waranty

I purchased the Seaswirl 210 about 2 1/2 months ago. I am very happy with it. I got a great deal from the dealership by where i live because they arent making them anymore. I also looked at the Tahoes too but the Seaswirl fit my needs a lot better. So if your looking for a recommendation for the Seaswirl boats...i strongly recommend them. Good luck.

My husband and I bought a 2007 217 seaswirl deck boat new and have loved it. You are right it is the best of everything on the water. We are thinking about selling it, unfortunately. I have been looking on the web, trying to find a current value for it and have come up with nothing, now I know why...it's discontinued. Anyone out there know where I can find some resale information, please respond.
