I purchased a 1996 Seaswirl Spyder last summer and although the boat is immaculate it didn't come with an owner's manual. I have some questions about the boat (such as what does that little switch on the dash marked "shower" do?) but can't figure out where to get a manual. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Re: Seaswirl Spyder Owner's Manual

Aaron,
I just purchased a 1995 Seaswirl 201. I have, right now in my hot little hands, the advertising brochure, which includes the 1995 Spyder. One of the options on the Spyder listed is:

"Pressurized transom shower" Doesn't say if it is fresh water or not. The photo shows a little
hottie sitting on the port side of the transom spraying herself down with a shower head on a hose mounted on the transom just above the folded up swim step.

My Seaswirl has switches identified for option I don't have. I have a switch labeled "wiper" and another "ski flag" (whateverthatwassupposedtobe).

For 1995, Seaswirl did not provide model specific owner manuals. I have a 1995 Seaswirl "Owners Manual" that is for all their boats, an "Operation and Maintenance Manual" specific to my motor, an outdrive manual from Volvo-Penta and a trailer manual from the trailer manufacterer. The previous owner provided all these when I boat the boat.

You might try Seaswirl at www.seaswirl.com for help. They were very helpful in locating an authorized service dealer for me.

Stephen
