Has anyone built their own seat boxes for their restore?
I've searched the internet high and low looking to buy some and found nada. I finally got ahold of Klamath boats out here on the west coast and they build and sell them for $250 each. A bit out of my price range. Looking for something like this
Considering building my own but not even sure where to start. I have found standard dimensions on larger Alum fishing boats (mine is a 19ft) to be 16"x16"x13"H. Does this seem about right? Also, should I use 1/2" or 3/4" ply? I've never done any "glass" work so not sure if I should on these or not.
Any ideas or advise would be greatly appreciated
