Dear All,

My 1997 Alaskan is new to me this year. It has two seats that have probably not been moved since '97. Anyone have a trick to getting one of those seat posts free from the hole? Ive tried tapping, even unscrewed the plate from the deck and tried banging out with a rubber hammer. The rubber insert is dry and has lost any flexibility.

Thanks.

I had the same issue, just spray some loosening oil and wait a day. Should come out with a little persuasion from a deadblow hammer.
