I have a 1984 Bayliner Capri 1950.I need to replace the floor and have a few ??? First I need to remove the seats but cant see how they are attached. Are there bolts holding them down?If so willI need to cut into the wooden box that the seats attach to?If the floor is solid around and under the boxes the seats go on to can I leave them alone? And finally,Can I add 1 more stringer to the boat without worrying about handling? thanks

Re: Seat removal help

What kind of seats? If they are reclining seats, there should be 4-6 bolts (probably lag) under the seat box. The seat assembly should come up off of the box it is on, it will be "hinged" on the front of the box.
