Looking for some good information of seat restoration
Its a Wellcraft 210
Cushions on the part that cover the motor area has some cracking over a large area.
I imagine it is because the previous owner did not keep it covered properly and they got baked.
The foam is still soft and spongy like it should be but the covering is cracked.
I am not sure if its vinyl, but I would suspect that it is.
I would like to repair the cracking but I am not really sure how to.
I have searched the forums here but not much on this topic.
I have seen some ads for the vinyl repair kits. Pasty looking stuff that is used like a filler. Mix it dump it in smooth it out and dye it to color.
I am sure it might work well on a small area but I am looking to fill several feet of cracks.
Anyone ever use any of this stuff for a project this big. Did it work?
Thanks
