Hey you Seattle boaters, especially the ones that launch at Magnuson Park.
We went out Friday night, we launch at Magnuson Park.
We drove down to the launch just as the Seattle Police were arresting Isaiah Kalebu. They were just putting him in the police car. We didnt know it was him of course till we watched the news on Sat morning.
We do early evening launches every now and then, getting back usually 9 or 10.
Now, wouldnt you think if you arrested some murdering freak(alleged) in your park, you would be pretty concerend?
We got to the launch at 10:30, the park is open till 11. i almost missed the launch as there were no lights on at all.
I walked through a empty pitch black parking lot to get the trailer, last was the lesser evil, leaving my wife with the boat, she usually goes to get the trailer.
I sent a strongly worded email to the Seattle Parks Dept. I hope I am not the only one that sees something wrong here.
