I just recently replaced my old cassette deck with a CD player and I'm having issues with it.
I was getting power to the deck no problem, but when I go to turn it up a bit, it just shuts off. It would reboot eventually, but now it won't even turn on. I didn't replace any wires, just figured out the power and grounds from the old deck.
Could it be that the newer deck requires too much power and it just shuts down when I turn it up? I've checked the fuses and they're not blown.
I would also like to add a second battery strictly for the stereo. What is the best way to go about doing this? What type of battery do I need, wiring, etc?
Thanks in advance everyone;
