Morning

my awake edited version,

So in my 1950 Capri, the battery is located port side, in the secret transom stash box under rear seat. It's covered by a snap-on vinyl cover. Inside the battery area, it has a nice fiberglass platform the battery box to secures to. The 1954 fish-n-ski, has the same deal on the starboard side as well. In my boat, that space is smaller than the port side battery area, plus the bilge fan and duct hose run there as well. The access panel on the of the port side is mounted ~ 1.5 inches closer to the bow, than the starboard access panel? I think I can move the panel on the starboard side, so I have room to stash the second battery. Then my plan is to fabricate and fiberglass a platform that securely mounts my second, or what will be my trolling motor/stereo battery. Then go bankrupt running the million dollar power/battery cable ( stuff is crazy expensive!!!! ) to the bow, through the gunwale. I'm also planning about putting a circuit breaker above the access hole for the second battery (group 27 deep cycle).. This will be my first experience with fiberglass. A friend that restored some glass cars is gonna teach me.... Has any one ever done this? Any advice would be great!
