I just bought an old-school Johnson outboard (80 h.p.). My old outboard on my old boat had "screwy" things that would secure the outboard to the transom. I didn't realize when I bought this engine that they weren't on there. Can I buy them aftermarket???

The old style mounting bracket ;) You can usually find them for sale on ebay for fairly cheap.

OMC did not use those "screwy things" (clampscrews) on motors that large. Go to the electronic parts list at http://shop.evinrude.com/ and pick out the brackets that the motor slips in behind.
