Seeking Cavalier info - 22 vs 24?

I am looking into getting an older model (1985-1990) Cavalier, and I've been seeing some pretty nice models for sale on the web but little if any technical info. Despite getting out my imaginary magnifying glass I can't identify the differences between the Cav 22 and the Cav 24. I wonder in fact whether they are the same boat but identified differently by the various owners.

I also need to know the beam and weight of these boats, but the ads don't drill down on actual stats beyond the engine size.

Do we have any Doral Experts on board?

Yeah, it does seem confusing, but the hulls remained the same, the earlier ones were called 22's I believe because they didn't come with a full swim platform and therefore didn't include it in the measurement. (I sent you the '85 brochure, you'll see what I mean)

Oh! So my guess you'll see in my email reply to you is all wrong! What you say makes sense because I could not discern a difference in the size as I compared the different year models.

I am continuing my search, now looking primarily at '89 Cavaliers. I've been reading the "89 Cavalier" thread from last summer and Fall, and I noticed a lot of interesting talk about upgrading the interiors, and requests for pics, but way too few pics. It would be great if those who have done some refurbishing would kick in with good pics. As everyone knows, without a pic it didn't happen!
