Self bailing hull change

I used the Dory about 6 times last year with the self bailing hull openings. Works o.k. but takes on water if everyone goes to that one side and water comes in when going on and off plane. The most annoying is waves sloshing in and out when anchored. The deck is fully sealed so the water coming in is not a safety issue. I do not like water draining into the bilge so I want to keep the openings for storage in the yard to let the deck drain. I am trying to come up with a way to plug them when I am using the boat and then open them when in storage. I was thinking of a using screw in type deck inspection ports. Any other idea's. Changing the size and shape of the opening is not an issue so any idea is possible.

Granted,...........It looks like I was spelling it "sculper",........Which would be why I didn't find it at I-Boats,.........

Again, I apologize,..................

I have looked at some of those scupper drains, but the problem I am seeing is that those are all designed for the back of the boat and would get beat up real bad on the side of the boat. I am looking more at sealing the hull shut in use and taking them off to drain when out of the water.

brass screw in boat plugs. they are small but will drain the rain from sitting in your yard. just my two cents!

I thought about doing that but I don't like how the small holes get plugged with leaves and stuff. I have also thought about using a 2" stainless pipe plugs, which I may end up doing.
