Selling my boat...need help

Someone is finally interested in my 94 Caravelle with SX. Problem is, the last time I took it out it kept stalling out at part throttle due to lack of fuel (carbed). I could see through the glass inline filter housing this large air bubble.

I changed out the spin-on filter when I got back, started it up and saw the bubble shrink quite a bit, then disappear. But I haven't had it out since, and the potential buyer wants a test drive this weekend(!). I'm worried the mechanical pump is bad, or the gas in the tank is old.

Any advice?

yeah! be honest and tell, put fresh gas in or change out the pump and up your price or tell him about it .What ever the problem is fix it or tell the buyer about it.
Should be no question.
or reschedule after you test the boat.
Rich

Wellcract said what I was thinking. If you suspect something is wrong--Correct it now.Dont try to hide it.Always put yourself in the buyers position and think if you would want that done to you.Fix it and test run it for them with confidence and if you need to raise the price a little to compensate for the new parts--then do so...Charlie
