Does anyone know the cylinder bore specs for the above mentioned block. Seloc for some reason only lists one spec for standard cylinder bore. 3.305". Seloc gives specs. for standard bore year 84 -90 and 90 -95. Yet only gives specs for cylinder position [2] years 89-90 and 90 -95.

To the best of my knowledge, the cylinder bore for all 85 s up to 1990 was 3.3125 with a 2.80 stroke except for the high performance 85 Chrysler which had a stroke of less-- I don't remember exactly but I think it was .060 less.

Standard overbores are .010, .020. .030. and .040. Pistons are sized to match these overbores and have proper wall clearance. Only overbore the minimum necessary to repair the damage.

It is not necessary to bore all three cylinders if only one is damaged. Replacement pistons are matched to factory weights. And the bore is so small, that the engine never notices the extra displacement of the overbored cylinder. It only amounts to a fraction of a cubic inch.
