The Selco book I bought only mentions thermostats in two places and neither of them show the location in the engine. Where do I find them and what would be a good way to back flush the cooling system to make sure I've got all debris out of it? I read to shoot compressed air in to the telltale. Aside from that I don't know where to inject water.
Thanks

Not sure on your boat but on my 150 they are at the top of the heads, mine have a hose running between them and then a hose runnung down the motor to the exhaust and a T is installed were it goes to the Tell-tale

I took the cowling and some kind of inner cover/bracket off. I see a hose from the top of the heads down to the telltale hole. Aside from that I dont see anything else. Maybe I dont have thermostats?
I looked around the engine, the only other hoses I saw seem to be for fuel...

The thermostat is located under the connection on the head end, of the hose that runs from the head to the tell-tale. There should be a little oval-shaped cover on the head, and that should have a fitting on it that the hose connects to...under that oval shaped cover you will find your thermostat.
