I need to pull the 4.3 in my boat and replace it because the block is cracked, and need a good manual. Is the seloc a good manual or is it like a Chiltons for a car and is worthless?
The aftermarket manuals (Seloc & Clymers) gives you just a little bit of information on a lot of different engines and years. The same size book in an OEM manual gives you ALL the information for a very few models.
That is how they (Seloc and Clymers) can put 30,000 pages of information into only 400 pages .............. IF, they get it right.
Which do you want?
